The Denver Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., originally the Beta Phi Chapter, was chartered in 1939 with both Alumnae and Undergraduate members. In 1969, reorganization led to two distinct Chapters: Denver Alumnae Chapter (DAC) and the Zeta Pi Citywide Undergraduate Chapter. Greetings,
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was founded 112 years ago on January 13, 1913, by 22 young women studying at Howard University in Washington, DC. They sought to create an organization rooted in sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action. Today, we have blossomed into more than what those 22 courageous women could have imagined, with over 350,000 initiated women and over 1,000 chapters located worldwide.
